The Egmont Centre of FIU Excellence and Leadership (#ECOFEL) will be delivering the Advanced Strategic Analysis Course (A-SAC) for FIU analysts in the EGFIU’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region from October 29th to November 2nd, 2023, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This course is being organized alongside the Middleeast and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
As acknowledged by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards, strategic analysis is a critical operational component of any Financial Intelligence Unit and is instrumental to building and maintaining a strong, resilient AML/CFT regime. In this regard, the ECOFEL developed the Advanced Strategic Analysis Course (A-SAC) to train an analyst group of excellence who can become multipliers within their FIUs to improve the production of strategic analysis globally.
By partnering to develop and deliver the A-SAC, the ECOFEL, MENAFTF Secretariat, and IMF are supporting FIUs in #EGFIU’s Middle East and North Africa Region in strengthening their capabilities to produce high-quality strategic analysis.
