The Egmont Centre of FIU Excellence and Leadership, in collaboration with the Isle of Man Financial Intelligence Unit, is proud to deliver the Advanced Strategic Analysis Course (A-SAC) to FIU analysts from the Egmont Group’s Europe II region.
This in-person course will take place in Douglas, Isle of Man, from November 3–7, 2025, and will focus on the strategic analysis of virtual assets, a dynamic and increasingly critical area in the fight against financial crime.
Strategic analysis, as recognized by FATF standards, is a cornerstone of effective AML/CFT efforts. It enables FIUs to identify emerging threats, understand typologies, and inform policy and operational responses.
Through A-SAC, ECOFEL equips a select group of analysts to become multipliers within their FIUs, enhancing global capacity to produce high-quality strategic analysis and tackle complex issues like virtual asset misuse.
